RARE FIND! Here is an interesting little antique insects print, extracted from a 1890 German Pierers dictionary. This vintage bugs illustration was the dictionary entry for "Käfer", which means beetle in German.

This vintage engraving is in German and shows two different topics on each side. On the front side is a colored illustration of beetles, which shows a variety of insects including beetles, weevils and ladybug. On the back is a black and white illustration of fossils from the Jurassic period, including a number of intricate ammonites.

Frame it in a double-sided reversible frame and gift it to your favorite insect lover or prehistory historian.

SIZE: page approx. 25.2 x 16.9 cm (9 7/8” x 6 3/5”) including margins, Image approx. 22,4 x 14.7 cm (8 3/4” x 5 3/4”).

AUTHENTICITY: What you will receive is an authentic dictionary page from 1890 that comes from a damaged volume. This is NOT a copy. The paper is yellowed, as befits its age but the engraving is in very good condition. ONLY ONE IN STOCK!

SHIPPING:

- Ships from Switzerland in a cellophane bag and a cardboard-reinforced envelope.
- The mat and frame are NOT included.
