1897 Book binding poster

● This charming 18976 vintage French dictionary page illustrated the lovely art of book binding. This engraving is from a 1897 French Larousse dictionary and shows the various steps a bookbinder goes through to go from unbound book to fully bound book. Binding is called "Reliure" in French. The back is printed with various dictionary articles, illustrated with smaller engravings. Antique French bookbinding illustration perfect for framing in a French home decor or crafting. great gift for a bookbinder or an artisan.
