Are you a collector of Auriculas? Then this print is made for you.
It shows a botanical illustration of blue and yellow Primula auricula, often known as auricula, mountain cowslip or bear's ear. It is a species of flowering plant in the family Primulaceae, that grows on basic rocks in the mountain ranges of central Europe, including the western Alps, Jura Mountains or the Vosges.

Isn't there something captivating about botanical illustration? When a master captures the very essence of the flower so well that you can feel the velvetyness of the petals, the texture of the leaves and smell the perfume as if it were real?

Redouté is undoubtedly such a master.

This delicate piece of vintage botanical art comes from a luxury 1986 edition of Redouté's flowers and fruits, printed on thick art paper. The page is printed with the French name of the flower Lilas at the bottom of the page.

Frame it and gift it to your favorite Auricula lover!
